Reset your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

If you lost access to your token generation authentication device or email address, you will need to reset or disable multi-factor authentication (MFA) for your Hesk help desk to log in to the admin panel.

 

Step 1: are there any other administrators in your help desk?

» YES

Please ask another administrator to reset your MFA on the "Team" page.

» NO

Follow instructions in Step 2 to disable MFA.

 

Step2: use the Hesk MFA reset script:

1. download the Hesk MFA reset script

2. upload disable-mfa.php to your server into the Hesk folder

3. open disable-mfa.php in your browser, for example:
    https://www.example.com/hesk/disable-mfa.php

4. select your name and click the Disable MFA button

5. delete disable-mfa.php file from your server
