I am getting SPAM to my help desk


» How to combat SPAM with HESK

  1. Make sure your are using the latest version of HESK!

  2. Enable anti-SPAM image in HESK Settings.

  3. Still getting SPAM? Try disabling Anti-SPAM image in HESK settings and using a good "Anti SPAM question". Don't use a default anti-SPAM question, try writing a unique one for your website yourself.

  4. Still getting SPAM? Try enabling ReCaptcha in HESK settings (or installing HESK ReCaptcha plugin for HESK version 2.4)

  5. Still getting SPAM? If you have E-mail piping or POP3 fetching enabled try disabling them. HESK doesn't filter incoming mail for SPAM, your server should do that.
