» What is this update?

It has come to my attention that several users have downloaded and installed an infected version of HESK.

This update doesn't modify any HESK files (except version setting of course). What it does is it verifies that you have a valid HESK installed on the server, not an infected one.

» HOW TO INSTALL

1. Upload /install folder to your HESK folder.

2. Open install/verify.php in your browser, for exmple:
   http://www.domain.com/hesl/install/verify.php

3. If you get a message saying "OK: You seem to be running the official HESK version." you are all set, just delete /install folder from the server

4. If you get a message saying you have an infected version installed, follow steps shown on the verify.php screen.

That's it. Please make sure you always download HESK from the official website www.hesk.com.
